A client in China commissioned this machine to automate the polishing of metal hardware on their manufacturing line, to free up their polishing staff to work on new projects.
An embedded PC controls seven servoed motors over a CAN bus to quickly and consistently polish the workpieces using precise control of position, speed and torque.
Safety features include 24V operation, E-stop circuit and a safety enclosure with lid sensor, which also provides dust extraction.
